Read the report at the link below. I find it, not only interesting for what is in the report, but for the fact that this report exists at all. This information was leaked apparently by somebody in or close to the DOJ. I think it quite probable that somebody is attempting to influence any judges who will be deciding cases related to insurrection. Suffice to say these revelations do not help Donald Trump.

    C'mon man. Gimme a break.

This is all the 187 minutes rigamarole. There's nuthin about instigating here.

"This is all the 187 minutes rigamarole. There's nuthin about instigating here." ~ Hate

The the attack on our Capital and violence the insurrectionists were engaging in was already taking place as Trump just sat there, hour after hour, watching his traitorous followers whom he had convinced to believe his lies desecrate our Nations Capital in their attempt to stop the vote count and steal the election for him while those around him pleaded with him and begged him to stop the insanity.

  3. by Ponderer on January 8, 2024 11:19 am

Curt, you are never going to get these MAGA Hat defenders of Donald Trump to ever stop defending him.

  4. by HatetheSwamp on January 8, 2024 11:31 am

Exactly, isle. It all after the fact stuff.

  5. by islander on January 8, 2024 11:52 am

Try as hard as you like, Hate, but you can't make those facts disappear.

  6. by HatetheSwamp on January 8, 2024 1:27 pm

When have OD and pb EFFIN-EVER attempted to deny these facts!!!!!?

We were here in the moment on J6 condemning the riot.

"We were here in the moment on J6 condemning the riot." ~ Hate

    No you weren't. 👎

You were calling it a mostly peaceful demonstration !!

  8. by HatetheSwamp on January 8, 2024 1:51 pm

    It was both.

But, in the moment, we were heartbroken about the riot part.

  9. by islander on January 8, 2024 2:01 pm

The only thing you were heartbroken about was the fact that it was Trump's own followers who ended up making Trump look like the criminal and traitor that he is and you were afraid that could make his reelection more difficult.

That's why you have always tried so hard to minimize what took place on Jan. 6th.

  10. by oldedude on January 8, 2024 2:47 pm
po Curt, you are never going to get these MAGA Hat defenders of Donald Trump to ever stop defending him.
Again, you can't believe that we would want "him" to have any right that everyone in the US has. You want him drawn and quartered (you know that involves killing him, right?). So you're hoping a human being is killed. So I guess that messes up what you said about the Gazarians.... where "all" lives are precious. And you're pro abortion, which by definition, is murder.

  11. by HatetheSwamp on January 8, 2024 3:04 pm

    OD,

po and the most basic liberties don't mix. po'd fit in like a hand in a glove with Hamas, cept for the LGBTQIA2+++ thing.

I don't think po's that crazy about you or I possessing rights either.

  12. by oldedude on January 10, 2024 3:57 am
It seems odd to me still; the libs not wanting to actually have a trial and settle this. I don't get it. And I'm waiting for someone to explain it to me.

"Again, you can't believe that we would want "him" to have any right that everyone in the US has." -olde dude

AHH!!! I see your problem now, od. You are laboring under the misapprehension that Trump is getting biased treatment. Which is actually true, but in the absolute opposite way that you are thinking he is.

Trump is getting the most preferential treatment that anyone has ever gotten as a federal or state criminal defendant. He is getting kid glove treatment like no other American citizen ever would under the circumstances. His only chance, since he has no actual defense against the charges for the crimes he committed, is to try to fuckup the proceedings or catch some administrative error to cause a mistrial or something. So they're throwing everything within reach at the wall, no matter how ridiculous or asinine (He has to be impeached first before he can... for fucksake!)

But none of it's gonna stick. He is not being denied any due process or having his civil rights impinged upon in any way at all. Far from it. He is being given concessions and liberties that no one else would ever get in a million years.

Do you think for a second that if any of us stole hundreds of the highest top secret documents, lied about having them, moved them around to avoid discovery, and then had to have an FBI raid to recover them from various rooms of our home that we wouldn't have been cooling our jets in a federal prison cell awaiting trial all this time? And that's just one of the cases!

So spare me the cry-baby tantrums over the horrific and unfair treatment Trump is getting at the hands of the Justice department that is falling all over itself to him every courtesy it can.

  14. by HatetheSwamp on January 10, 2024 6:12 am

    How cow!

OD, this is po's narcissism flyin down a crowded inner city one way street at 90 mph...or, as I've called it, po centering the universe.

    Sheeeeeeeeeeeesh.

What pb thinks is happnin is what happens in American justice. The prosecution is overstating it's case, the defense is protesting its client's innocence...

...and, the judges?, give them, maybe, a C+. Judge Chutkan is being slightly anti-Trump...but only enuff that she'll probably get away with it. The Appeals Court panel seemed a tad anti-Trump, but that's to be expected. It'll be up to the Supreme Court to make a cutting edge decision.

But, po. You are, again, living smack dab in the center of the preferences and prejudices that you bring with you to every moment of your life.

    Trust me.

AHH!!! I see your problem now, od. You are laboring under the misapprehension that Trump is getting biased treatment. Which is actually true, but in the absolute opposite way that you are thinking he is.

No, I want him out too. I think the dims are too stupid to actually bring a case that can pull him down. Legally. So it sticks. By your "standards" (which are incredibly low), you don't need a trial like the law says. Even though it's right in the law. And even if it weren't, DUE PROCESS 😱 must still happen. So what are you afraid of? Too chickenshit to actually do something the right way? Or is it that you realize your incompetence is the over-riding factor?

If you're saying he's getting "biased" treatment, please cite. I think he is because the dims are too stupid and too cowardly to do it the correct way. You don't even want to have him brought before one of your kangaroo courts.

  16. by Ponderer on January 10, 2024 7:24 am

I see. So just because Trump weaponized the Justice department and tried to use it to thwart the will of the people and stay in power, you think that the Democrats are trying to do the same thing. You think the Democrats are just as criminal and willing to wipe their asses with the Constitution as Trump and the Republican party is. Pure case of projection.

The only way that Republicans can feel good about themselves and what they are doing to this country is to make everyone else out to be far worse than they are. We've seen it and seen it. We get it.

"If you're saying he's getting "biased" treatment, please cite." -olde dude

Tell me, od. How many indicted whistle blowers or spies who have stolen and criminally tried to retain classified top secret documents do you know of who were allowed to be released on bail?

    Take your time......

  17. by HatetheSwamp on January 10, 2024 7:30 am

    OD,

I watch MSNBC videos on YouTube fairly regularly. It's struck me that their gang shares the same psychic/spiritual core that's in po. All their reason is stymied by obsessive TrumpHate.

Trump's, by far, the least conservative among GOP candidates. What it is that fuels their irrationality confounds me. Clearly, it ain't ideology.

It stuns me how profoundly spiritual that hate is...and. while it's obvious to me, it perplexes me as much as ever.

    So, po. Please. Be transparent.

What's inside. What makes your Trump thing tick!!!!!?

High profile? I can't think of one that was held. Certainly pedojoe and Mike Pence weren't. cliton wasn't. None of these knew what was going to happen when released. Nor did the bureau or IC.

Low profile? Depends on the case. The IC wants to talk to most of them, so there's that.

  19. by Curt_Anderson on January 10, 2024 9:28 am
    OD,
The historic, 37-count federal indictment of Donald Trump accusing the former president of taking some of the nation’s national security secrets out of the White House and not returning them when asked has led some of his defenders to wonder why other former leaders – such as Joe Biden, Mike Pence, and Hillary Clinton – found to possess restricted documents after they left office have not also been charged.

Legal experts say there’s a central difference.

“It’s about the refusal to give them back. It’s about the obstruction,” said Dave Aronberg, state attorney for Palm Beach County, Florida, who’s not involved in the federal prosecution of the former president. “That’s why this situation is so senseless, so pointless, such a self-inflicted wound.”

    Curt,

In my America, that's for a jury of citizens, not Big Brother, to determine.

  21. by Curt_Anderson on January 10, 2024 9:48 am
    HtS,
If you had thought about it for two minutes, you’d realize that what you just posted is nonsensical not to mention unAmerican.

You seem to be saying that Joe Biden, Mike, Pence, and Hillary Clinton should be facing a jury as Donald Trump is scheduled to do. The difference is that of those four names only Donald Trump obstructed. So, in his case naturally prosecutors decide to prosecute.

So following your logic everybody should be required—-prosecuted or not—- to go before a jury to demonstrate their innocence, even though there were no charges.

    HtS,
Another nonsensical post from you with a non sequitur thrown in.

  24. by HatetheSwamp on January 10, 2024 10:05 am

    Above your head, apparently.

Answer us. According to whom only Trump obstructed?... other than members of the Biden DOJ...

...with Biden trailing Trump in the polls!

Smelly to you, too? Oh, apparently not, keehee, hoo, ha, ahhhhhhhhhhh.

  25. by Curt_Anderson on January 10, 2024 10:16 am
According to independent special counsel Robert K. Hur, a Republican and Donald Trump, appointee, among others.

  26. by HatetheSwamp on January 10, 2024 10:26 am

Robert K. Hur, Biden DOJ employee. C'mon man. Gimme a break!

At any rate, pb's primary objection is the determination of the highly politicized Biden DOJ to get this to trial during election season. Trump'll be just as guilty after the election...if he's, indeed, guilty...

...and there'd be no appearance of election interference. If what you care about really is justice...

How did trumpster "weaponize" DOJ? THEY are the one's that lied to judges, built a case they knew was false to try to get rid of him. ALL at the behest of cliton! IF you can, please cite. I trust that you are pulling that out of your ass, which is where the constitution is buried for you, but please try.

So it's NOT about the classified documents, it's about obstruction. Got it. I'll agree with you on that. One issue though, cliton.

  28. by HatetheSwamp on January 10, 2024 2:59 pm

    How did trumpster "weaponize" DOJ?

    Yeah, Curt. Do tell.

  29. by Curt_Anderson on January 10, 2024 6:04 pm
    Since you asked…

“The Biden regime’s weaponization of our system of justice is straight out of the Stalinist Russia horror show,” he told a rally in Texas.

As is often the case with Trump, his accusations — widely repeated by other Republicans — reflect his own pattern of conduct: his history of threatening or seeking to employ the expansive powers of the presidency to go after his enemies, real and perceived.

“He was always telling me that we need to use the F.B.I. and I.R.S. to go after people — it was constant and obsessive and is just what he’s claiming is being done to him now,” said John F. Kelly, Trump’s second White House chief of staff.

Now as a criminal defendant, Trump has abused—weaponized, if you will—the justice system with frivolous arguments, delays and legal maneuvers.

  30. by oldedude on January 10, 2024 6:52 pm
Except pedojoe actually illegally used DOJ against honest citizens using (not abusing) their rights set out by the bill of rights and constitution. Things like going into Catholic churches to collect data on citizens, or putting parents on the terrorist watch list because they "attended" a school board meeting that didn't agree with pedojoe's agenda. That's shit the Duvalier's did. They LIED to an ENTIRE nation to get rid of political opponents and jailed a few. I know you don't think twice about the victims of this. Mostly because you either agree with the methods, or you don't care about the constitution and the bill of rights. The basic pillars that you know nothing about. You still think lying to a court is okay in your book. There's nothing wrong with that.

First, that's the stupidest shit I've heard from an adult in a very, very long time. I thought I was going to get into it, but it's just sooooooo fucking dumb. Seriously. Sad stupid.

Lead is 100% correct. You took him completely out of context to attack. Unless you are that stupid.

cliton is another issue. She also obstructed justice, and destroyed evidence, and a bunch of other shit. And she bought her way out of it with obomber. How do you think she ran for prez? She was a huge part of the Russian collusion issue and the steele dossier because she "thought" she had bought enough people to run. Which turned out to be correct.

More and more of that all the time.

Apparently, "that feckless dementia-ridden piece of crap" and his DOJ and the whole administration can't be defended... with integrity.

Why can't they simply admit that the Doddering Old Fool's a mess!!!!!?
